Having three naughty kids to take care of is very hard. Sometimes, these kids of mine could easily make me nuts. I have to cope with carpool, play dates and soccer games. I want to be present in every event in my kids' life. Sometime, I wish I could split my body into three so I can do all of that.

My kids and I encountered a problem recently about the cereal carton being left open on the countertop. Since we had been experiencing problems with ants, that was a big deal for me. No person would like to step forward, yet I was certain that someone else did it. After all, those cereal boxes would never open on their own. Thus I decided to get a hidden home security camera.

I thought about hidden cams since they could help me identify who had been neglecting the cereal cartons immediately after taking from them. These are employed often to catch thieves, burglars and also other criminals in the act, but I would make use of one to teach my kids a lesson.

I bought a wall clock hidden camera, as well as installed it on a kitchen window. This is a completely working wall clock, and I loved that it disguised a camera within. My kids won't have any clue at all. Monitoring them would be the last thing they would think of.

The monitoring video camera with a built-in DVR needed no set up. The device was ready to use when I got it out of the box.

As for playback, I got options. I could utilize the provided RCA cord to link up the video camera to a television or monitor, or I could put the complimentary SD card into my laptop computer's SD card reader.

The .003 lux helps this black and white camera capture good quality images in the dark.

The very next day immediately after the hidden home security camera had been mounted, I watched the playback. I witnessed my eldest leave the cereals on top of our kitchen counter soon after she had gotten some for her to eat. I showed her the footage, and revealed the repercussions of her actions.
