Nokia launches the Nokia C5 mobile phone, an inexpensive touchscreen Smartphone with a couple of neat features that may well pique your interest if you want a new cell phone that’s simple to use but covers all of the essentials for modern-day phones. What’s new with the Nokia C5-03? The Nokia C5-03 Smartphone has a 3.2-inch touch display and now features Wi-Fi, for fast internet access without the need or expense of a data plan. The Nokia C5-03 also features a compass and assisted GPS for use with the latest version of the free Ovi Maps hands-free navigation service, now featuring public transport support and location sharing through social networks.

Nokia C5-03 like many recent Nokia phones, you can put your most important contacts directly onto the homescreen so you can call, message or chat them up in just two taps. The Nokia C5-03 handset has a 5-megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom, but no flash. The Nokia C5-03 cell phone measures 105.8mm x 51.0mm x 13.8mm (L x W x H) and weighs 93 grams - that makes it a similar size to the (imminently) forthcoming Nokia C6-01, and quite a bit smaller than the Nokia N8 or Nokia C7.

The Nokia C5-03 phone comes with up to 40MB of user memory and support for MicroSD cards up to 16GB. The talktime is quoted at 11.5 hours for GSM use and 4.5 hours using 3G. Standby time is estimated at 24-25 days. The operating system is Symbian 1 (aka. S60 5th edition touch-edition). The Nokia C5-03 cell phone allows for easy email set-up - either an existing webmail or POP3 provider through Nokia messaging. For business users, there’s also the option of Mail for Exchange. If that isn’t enough, you’ll also find a quick setup wizard for Ovi Mail for users either new to email or who want a different account for their mobile messaging. As you’d expect, there’s also access to Ovi Music and the Ovi Store so you can fill your device with fresh content on a daily basis.

Launching globally at the end of this quarter, the Nokia C5 mobile phone is expected to retail at around €170 before taxes or operator subsidies. As soon as we receive a Nokia C5-03 test sample, we will publish a photo gallery with high resolution pictures, followed by an extensive Nokia C5-03 review.
With the ink now dry on the contract between Nokia and Microsoft, the C2-01 is among the last of a dying breed: a Symbian OS-toting Nokia mobile. Oh, and it's sans touchscreen, too.
Yes, for one of the latest mobile phones, it's decidedly old-school. That said, it's cheap, simple and devoid of anything more fancy than a 3G connection, which will suit minimalists. But can it really hold up in market dominated by smartphones?

Nokia will most likely reinforce its current software strategy - focusing increasingly on a new MeeGo platform for high-end models, using its old Symbian workhorse for cheaper smartphones, and offering developers simultaneous access to both with its Qt toolset.
Having its own operating system gives Nokia full control over its devices rather than being beholden to a third party such as Google or Microsoft.
Apple and Blackberry maker RIM have used their own platforms to great effect, while the market is flooded with very similar smartphones running Google's Android.
Nokia E97 is a concept design by Fabien Nauroy, shows an incredible thought and a stylish phone. This concept phone has a complete keyboard in an AZERTY layout and there is a small LCD display above the keyboard. This envelop like design aims to set a limit between professional and personal life. The included leather case contains a second pocket to hold an additional screen. The parcel post like packaging of this phone has made it even more attractive and the best part of this concept phone is the futuristic pull-out LED display that can be used as a storage device and can create and share files or pictures.

As the MWC 2011 event is reaching closer, the excitement is increasing amongst all mobile enthusiatics and fanatics alike. MWC is suppose dto be one of the biggest event for mobile phone industry and we expect to see a lot of powerful and sleek looking smartphones. Some of which are Nokia N9 and Motorola Atrix, both are extremely sleek looking and powerful phones. However, the phone we are covering here is Nokia C8, it is not even in rumors as of yet, but someone from Mobile-Reviews.com coe up with a concept design of Nokia C8.

This phone seems like a mix of couple of mobiles, such as if you closely look at Nokia’s most recent release Nokia C7, you will find a lot of similarity, which means, with this design, the over all theme of phone can be matched to C7 and make it look like a step up from a sequel, rest of the appeal and features look pretty much like Nokia 8800 Luna. RIght now, it might be in appropriate to even comment on the specifications of this mobile, as it is some concept phone by some random person, but it is safe to assume that, this smartphone might run on Meego or Symbian 3 and have a strong sleek camera with atleast 12 mega pixel, it could also have a very powerful processor, such as dual core or something! Well, time shall tell.

A brief introduction…
The concept is a phone that can be bend in any shape the user wants. This allows it to be carried wherever the user want; around the wrist,in the chest pocket or in the bag.
By sending each other messages that contain emotions, the phone canchange its shape to fit the message. It can for example change its shapeto a heart when someone sends his love towards the person with the phone.

What I think can be improved…
The phone is designed in the way that it is flexible and can be bend or roll, but the size is more or less being restricted to the original dimensions of this phone model. So, the future phones can be designed in a more flexible way(e.g. able to deform the phone’s shape). In this case, the overall size of the phone can be able to extend to a larger one to accomodate more interfaces and also the phone’s form can then be changed to a wider variety.
Again, unlikely to ever make it to market, the Kinetic has possible the most inventive way of alerting its owner of an incoming call/text. I personally get fed up of hearing the same old bleeps, and tones day after day, so anything different would be great. Instead of vibrating, or ringing, the concept device stands up when someone’s trying to contact you. Apparently, it does this by turning electrical energy into kinetic (movement) energy. Awesome right? The only thing that bugs me slightly, is what might it do if it was in my pocket? Does it resort back to the traditional methods of notification?
Nokia N900 has already booked a user delivery, but not intended users could soon be in New York and Chicago Nokia Flagship Store to buy this phone. Current sale price has been determined for 649 U.S. dollars, or about 4413 yuan.
The Amazon release the links to buy Nokia N900, prices cheaper, Jinshou 510 U.S. dollars. This price totally contrary to everyone’s surprise, compared to an official report when it is published out of the price of 450 euros,it is less a lot.
The "Nokia Money" service will make it possible "to send money to another person just by using the person's mobile phone number, as well as to pay merchants for goods and services, pay their utility bills, or recharge their pre-paid SIM cards," the company said in a statement.

The service, available 24 hours a day, will be rolled out from early 2010.
Nokia said it was building up a large network of Nokia Money agents where consumers can deposit money or withdraw cash from their mobile accounts.
"We believe mobile financial services offer a market opportunity with long term growth potential," Nokia's chief development officer, Mary McDowell, said in the statement.
"In many countries, mobile phone ownership significantly exceeds bank account usage," she said noting that there are more than four billion mobile phone users worldwide compared to 1.6 billion bank accounts.
Nokia is the world's biggest manufacturer of mobile phones with a 38 percent market share. It is racing to diversify its operations as its rivals Apple and Research in Motion experience raging successes with their respective "smartphones", the iPhone and the Blackberry.
The Finnish company announced earlier this week the launch of its first mini-laptop, a highly-competitive sector currently in development.

Nokia E7 Specs:

The E7 features the same aluminium body as the N8 & has almost the same exact specs except for

  • Display screen: 4 inches AMOLED touchscreen
  • Snapdragon Processor
  • Body: Anodised Aluminum
  • Camera: 8 megapixel with LED Flash and HD video recording
  • Battery: 1200 mAh
  • Memory: 256 MB RAM and 1024 MB ROM
  • 3.5 mm audio Jack
  • microSD slot
The C7 takes a less serious attitude and places much more emphasis on entertainment. The C7 is all about social networking and makes the most of the new social networking features introduced to the latest version of Symbian. The C7 will give live updates from Facebook, Twitter and your email accounts directly to the phone homescreen, so that you can stay informed of the latest goings on without needing to actively check these individual services. Like the E7, the C7 features a superb screen, this time a 3.5″ display making the most of AMOLED technology.
In Brief – The Nokia C7
The C6-01’s big brother, the Nokia C7 combines a larger 3.5 inch AMOLED screen with a focus on stylish design and the all-important and ever popular social networking integration. This handset should retail at about £280, making it a serious competitor for anyone who wants a bit more bang for their buck.
