Overview
Once your bones stop growing, there's a limit to what you can do to increase your height. Girls experience their peak height growth at 11.5 years and boys at 13.5 years. Boys tend to grow taller than girls due to having two years longer to grow before bone closure, Dr. Lawrence S. Neinstein says on the University of Southern California's website. Increasing height in adults involves the idea that stretching can reduce compression in the spine. Stretching can improve your posture and increase your range of motion, according to the American Council on Exercise.

Step 1
Practice tadasana, the mountain pose. As you stand, focus on lengthening your spine, feeling your feet on the floor and keeping your chest open. Learn to stand with your shoulders relaxed and balanced -- not thrown back or hunched forward. Keep your leg muscles strong and avoid tensing your face or jaw. This stance teaches you to lengthen and support your spine, according to the "Yoga Journal" website. Standing tall helps you to resist the influence of gravity and increase your height after age 30. If you've tended to slouch, stretching can make a noticeable difference.

Step 2
Perform bhujanga, the cobra. Stretch out face down on the floor. Spread your fingers below your shoulders and tuck your elbows to your sides. Press your lower body firmly against the floor. Inhale and raise your upper body by straightening your arms, keeping your lower body in contact with the floor. Raise up only as far as you're comfortable. Keep your buttocks firm without tensing. Feel your spine lengthening. Hold the pose for a slow count of 15. Lower your upper body on an exhalation. Repeating the pose regularly helps you to increase your height by teaching you to maintain a longer spine as you stand, sit and move.

Step 3
Stretch every day after your shower while your muscles are warm. Walk in place for five minutes and then gently shake each arm and each leg to loosen up and release tension. Reach for the sky with one hand at a time. Stretch the entire side of your body from fingertips through your shoulder and hip all the way to your toes. Alternate sides, repeating the sequence three to five times.

Step 4
Take a class or work with a home exercise video in a form of exercise that stretches the entire body, such as yoga or Pilates. Practicing yoga or Pilates regularly helps make good posture a habit and strengthens the muscles that keep your spine and limbs in proper alignment. Stretching regularly may reduce compression in the spine to help you increase your height after age 30, although there is no scientific evidence of this.

Tips and Warnings
    * Seek out a qualified yoga instructor to learn correct form for yoga poses. Many fitness centers, yoga centers and community colleges provide yoga instruction. Take time to research products that claim to increase height. There's no scientific evidence that taking supplements, hanging from chin-up bars or using inversion equipment can cause a permanent height increase in an adult.
    * Perform stretches on a carpet or nonslip mat. Wearing socks or performing stretches on a surface that can slip, such as a rug, could result in a serious injury. If you have difficulty balancing, stand near a strong surface you can hold onto, such as a counter. Never use a towel rack or other item that could pull out from the wall as support.
Have you been thinking about how you may be able to grow taller? There are some exercises you can do that would help you. The spine, thighs and shine have the capability to stretch allowing you to be able to grow a little more. You should try the following exercises to lengthen the legs. I must say if there is any medical reason that may prevent you from doing these you should consult your doctor first.
An easy exercise is kicking. When you kick it exerts pressure to the thigh bone which gives it the ability to lengthen. Try doing front snap kicks by extending your leg and "snapping" out a kick. Try to keep your leg level or parallel to the ground and make the kick as fast as is appropriate for you.
Jumping is another exercise you can do but not just jumping up and down. You need to jump up on something. Depending on your strength level you can find something about 12 inches tall and work up to something higher. Whatever you use to jump onto, make sure it is sturdy enough. You basically just jump up on this and jump back down. Do some repetitions of these, rest between each jump if needed.
Riding a bike is a great way to strengthen the legs and lengthen them. If you like bike riding then this is something you would enjoy. Raise the bike seat a little higher than normal for you so you must reach out further with your legs as you pedal. A stationary bike would be just as beneficial.
The added benefit of doing these is that you would be getting a good workout along with lengthening the legs. You can do these exercises a few times a week to start and can combine them for a complete workout. Riding a bike is a low impact workout so you should be able to do this as much as you want.
If you have a desire to increase your height or to look taller go to Get Tall Now. There are indeed ways you can achieve your goal.

Schedule a fitness regime in your daily planner. Even if it is only for a short duration, just get started with it. Start with a routine you are comfortable with. Work on making exercise a hard-to-break-habit.

Our desire to look healthy and attractive has given way to a whole host of facial skin care products, more in fact than all the other skin care preparations put together. Of all these products, it is those that are used as part of a daily care regime that are the most popular. Things like cleansers, skin toners, daily moisturizers even exfoliation creams and peels.
The number of facial skin care products continues to grow and for the sake of convenience it has become necessary to split the products up into smaller sub-categories to make searching for a particular product easier. Gender, so there are facial skin care products for men and there are facial skin care products for women.
The skin type; as there are facial skin products for oily skin, dry skin, normal skin, combination skin and sensitive skin. Your age is also important and facial skin care products are available for older and facial skin and for the young.
There are also special skin care ranges for people with skin complaints and conditions like psoriasis, eczema and acne for instance. Perhaps you are able to see why this is such a large area of skin care now and the information here might give you a better idea of where you need to look once you have recognized what type of kin you have.
As with many things in life, ages changes many things and even though you may need different facial skin care products as you get older, your skin type can change as well. Facial skin care products are available in various forms i.e. creams, lotions, gels, masks etc, and a lot of people have difficulty making up their minds which to use.
Whilst it’s important to note that these products work differently for different people, the best thing is to try the facial skin care product on a small patch of skin (e.g. ear lobes) before actually going ahead and using it.
The only time when this may not be a good idea is if you have a skin complaint, when the best course of action is seek professional advise first before you try a new product. Once you have selected the facial skin care product for yourself, you also need to ensure that you use the it in the right way i.e. follow correct procedures for application, use the correct quantity and make the facial product a part of your skin care routine. Pampering your face with preparations that condition and tone is a good idea with the type of atmosphere most of us live in nowadays whether you’re a man or woman.
I’m one of those women who whats to keep the sun tan for as long as it is possible.
What’s been interesting for me to know is that tan duration depends on the place we’ve got it at: weather it was a beach shore, in the country or somewhere else. Southern tan has a tendency to paling much faster than the northern one. In any case, there are ways to make it remain on your skin longer!

Vitamin A
As the skin becomes dry under the sun rays, it badly needs vitamin A nourishment both from outside (in kind of body oil or body lotion used after the shower or bath), and inside (there are plenty of vitamin pills in the drugstores).
Take the right meals
Include into your every day ration beef liver, milk, eggs, apricots, spinach, carrot and probably all the red and yellow vegetables and fruit. Accept it as a rule to have one glass of carrot juice every morning.

Moisten and protect your skin
It’s an obligation to moisten the skin with creams before and afteryou sunbathe. Usually the skin gets dry after the sun baths and it unfortunately means – Bye-bye tanning! Moistened skin keeps the tan much longer than the dry one.
Taboo to sauna
If you’re a constant sauna visitor, you have no other choices but to wait a little with washing yourself as tan peels off much faster from the steamed-out skin. And steer clear of the scrubs. They affect the skin the same way as sauna does.

Use folk remedies
  • Add several tbsp tea or coffee into the bath.
  • Or make ice cubes with tea or coffee.
  • Besides, you can apply the following mask onto the skin to keep your fabulous summer tan: Peel off 2-3 tomatoes, smash them and mix with 2 tbsp curds, 1 tea spoon vegetable oil and 1 tbsp milk. Put the mixture onto the face for 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off with warm and cold water in turns.
As for me, I practice these simple tips all the time. It helps me to enjoy my tan longer!

BEAUTY TIPS BY SHAHNAZ HUSSAIN
This is the collection of Shahnaz Hussain beauty tips. All these tips are safe and can be tried at home.

Home Hair Cleanser:
Take a handful each of dried reetha, amla and shikakai. Soak them in one litre water overnight.
Next day, simmer the herbs on a low fire till the water reduces by half.
Allow the mixture to cool and then strain it with a clean cloth. Use the liquid to wash hair. This quantity should be enough for four to five washes. Refrigerate it.
Make small quantities at a time.

Pimples occur on the oily areas of the skin.

Therefore, applying cold cream can lead to further pimples. Mix one part of pure glycerine with four parts of rosewater and keep it in the fridge. Apply it on the face after washing and before applying it, add a few drops of lemon juice to it. Once daily, apply curd mixed with a little turmeric on the entire face, and wash it off with plenty of water after 20 minutes. Apply sandalwood paste on the pimples.

Dandruff:
Twice a week, heat pure coconut oil and apply it on the scalp at night, using cotton wool. Leave it on overnight. Next morning, apply the juice of a lemon on the scalp and wash your hair after half an hour. Apply henna once a week.

Lifeless Hair:
Once or twice a week, heat pure coconut oil and apply it on the scalp and hair. Then dip a towel in hot water, squeeze out the water and wrap the towel around your head like a turban. Keep it on for five minutes. Repeat the hot towel wrap three or four times. This helps the hair and the scalp absorb the oil better.
Use a mild herbal shampoo.
After each shampoo, apply a conditioner, massaging it lightly into the hair. Leave it on for two minutes before washing it off with water.
You can have henna treatment thrice a month, adding four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs, two teaspoons of oil and enough curd to the henna powder.
It will make your hair look healthy and lustrous.

Grey Hair:
Amla is said to check greying. Have the juice of one raw amla after adding it to a glass of water. Also try adding amla to the henna powder.
Henna turns white hair reddish brown. It will not colour dark hair.
Soak a handful of dry amla in about two cups of water overnight. Next morning, strain the water, but do not throw the water away. Grind the amla. To the henna powder, add the ground amla, four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs and enough amla water, so that the henna can be mixed into a thick paste. Apply it on the hair, covering the entire head. Keep it on for two hours and wash it off with water. It will also add shine and substance to the hair. Ask your doctor to prescribe Vitamins B-Complex and C.

Oily Hair, Hair Loss:
Excessive oiliness of the scalp can lead to hair loss. Wash your hair daily, using very little shampoo one teaspoon for long hair and half teaspoon for short hair. Dilute it with a little water and use it.
After washing, add the juice of a lemon to half a mug of water and use it as a last rinse.
Have henna treatment once a week.
Add four teaspoons each of lemon juice and coffee, two raw eggs and enough tea water to the henna powder and mix it into a thick paste. Apply it on the hair and wash it off after an hour. If you do not wish to use egg, add more tea water.
For tea water, boil used tealeaves in water. Cool and strain before using. Include fresh fruits, raw salads and sprouts in your daily diet. Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water. Add the juice of a lemon to a glass of water and have it first thing in the morning.

Dry, Lifeless Skin:
Use a facial scrub once a week.
For very dry skin, avoid soap and use a cleansing gel or cream.
For the body, use a mild, glycerine soap. Apply sesame seed (til) oil on the body before your bath.
Mix honey with egg yolk and a little milk and apply it daily on the face, washing it off with plain water after 20 minutes.
At night, apply a good nourishing cream and massage it on the face with a few drops of water. Wipe it off with moist cotton wool.
Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before going out in the sun. Til oil actually has sunscreen properties, but it is better to use a sunscreen lotion for proper protection.
Aloe Vera is a powerful moisturiser and an anti-oxidant. It helps keep the skin soft and healthy. It is better to use moisturisers and creams containing aloe vera.

Double Chin: exercises:
open your mouth as wide as you can. Hold this position for about 10 seconds, then relax your mouth, and repeat the exercise a few more times. For faster results, add resistance by placing a tennis ball underneath your chin, while testing your jaw span. Sleeping without a pillow is said to help. Also, you can massage the area daily with a cream. Start from the chin and go downwards using both hands, one hand following the other.

Oily T-Zone:
Either buy a facial scrub or mix rice powder with curd and use it as a scrub. You may add a little turmeric if you wish. Apply the scrub on the face, rubbing gently with small circular movements. Leave it on for five minutes and then wash it off. This will keep the pores free of clogged oil. Once daily, at any time, mix one teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of lemon juice and egg white and apply it on the oily areas, washing it off after 20 minutes.

Glowing Skin:
After cleansing, wipe the face with rose water, using cotton wool and then pat it briskly. Use a face mask once or twice a week. You can make a mask at home with two teaspoons of choker, one teaspoon of oatmeal or ground almonds and one teaspoon each of curd, honey and egg white. Apply it on the face and wash it off after 20-30 minutes.

Thin Waist:
Join a gym or health club and lose weight under professional guidance. Or, practise yoga daily. You can also do the following exercises after seeking your doctors advice. First, lie on the floor on your back, feet together and arms at the sides. Lift your legs about six inches above the ground and hold this position for a count of ten. Then lower your legs to the floor. Repeat this exercise 3 to 4 times and increase gradually. Then, keep lying on the floor, the same way. Bend your knees and keep your feet flat on the floor. Raise your body to a half-sitting position, holding your arms stretched out before you. Lower your body to the floor and repeat 3 or 4 times. Take a look at your eating habits. Avoid eating desserts after meals and stick to fresh fruits. Take clear soups (without butter) and salads before the main dish. Avoid rich gravies. Cut down on your intake of cereals. For example, if you have been eating three chapatis, eat only two. Or, eat only one cup of cooked rice. Eat fresh fruits, salads, sprouts, curd and paneer made from skimmed milk and lightly cooked vegetables. If you feel like a snack, eat fruit, carrot or cucumber.

Combination Skin, Pimples:
In combination skins, usually the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) is oily, while the rest of the face is dry. Pimples on the forehead can occur due to oiliness of the skin. You should wash the face only twice a day with a medicated soap. After washing, wipe the oily areas with rose water mixed with an astringent lotion in equal quantities. Use this two or three times a day. Avoid applying besan or multani mitti as they can sometimes clog the pores and cause pimples, blackheads or whiteheads, especially in pimple-prone skin. Add a little turmeric to curd and apply daily on the face, washing it off well with water after 20 minutes. Add a few drops of rose water to sandalwood paste and apply on the forehead and areas with spots. Keep it on for at least one hour.

Dry Skin:
If you wish to use soap, you can try a mild glycerine soap and see if it suits your skin. You should keep your skin well moisturised during the day, or if you are going out in the sun, apply a sunscreen. At night, use a nourishing cream, massaging it on the skin for two to three minutes. Massage the forehead too, starting from the bridge of the nose and using both hands. Go upwards and then in an arc on either side, go towards the temples. Wipe off with moist cotton wool. Once daily, mix one teaspoon honey with egg white and apply on the skin, washing off with plain water after 20 minutes.

Blackheads:
the daily use of a facial scrub will help. You can either buy a facial scrub, or you can mix rice powder with curd or rose water and use as a facial scrub. Apply on the face and rub gently on the skin using small circular movements. Concentrate on the blackhead prone areas. Leave on for five minutes and then wash off with water. Once daily, mix honey and lemon juice in equal quantities with egg white and apply on the face, washing it off after 20 minutes.
When summer comes many people go to the seaside but often take only a pair of sunglasses, a fashionable hat and a beach umbrella with them forgetting about the fact their skin also needs protection.

Doctors have been warning us about the harm of UV rays exposure and the development of cancer or some skin diseases as a possible result. Besides, if you stay in the sun for too long you’ll get sunburnt.
No one can deny that UV rays are useful, for they promote metabolism and improve blood circulation in skin. But to get that positive sun effect you can stay in the sun no longer than 15 minutes.
So, if you wish to sunbathe on the beach you need additional protection. Sunscreens are perfect for that but you should know what type of it you need.

In search of the most effective sunblock you can purchase dozens and then get disappointed in over the half of them. According to the recent survey now customers prefer sunscreens with natural ingredients.
Doctors claim natural ingredients are not only useful for skin but have an ability to reflect harmful UV rays like a mirror.
Here is a short characteristic of natural ingredients coming in a sunblock which can provide good
sunscreen protection from harmful rays:
Edelweiss extract - a good antioxidant, reduces harmful impact of the sun and protects from UV radiation.
Green tea - a strong antioxidant, prevents skin cancer development and protects skin from harmful sun rays during sunbathing.
Hibiscus - promotes generation of melanin, a substance that works to protect skin from UV rays.
Vitamin E and betakarotin - antioxidants, protect skin from free radicals.
Aloe - an antioxidant, protects skin from UV rays.
Among other natural substances to protect skin from the sun negative influence can be: calendula and chamomile extracts, avocado, sesame oil, etc.
So, as you have already understood natural ingredients are great… but only for women under 30 with olive complexion. But if you have fair complexion and are older than the aforementioned age you just cannot do without
with chemical ingredients as these provide more intensive protection.

How to apply Mascara:
Here I share 15 tricks and tips on how to apply mascara correctly. If you suffer from thick, clumpy, spider-like lashes, you may be applying mascara incorrectly.
· Tip #1: How to properly apply mascara. Ace your mascara application with a three-step process:
Step 1: Wiggle the wand left to right at the base of lashes. It's the mascara placed near the roots -- not the tips -- that gives the illusion of length.
Step 2: Pull the wand up and through lashes, wiggling as you go. The wiggling part is key: Wiggling separates lashes.
Step 3: In this final step (which I always skip), close the eye and place the mascara wand on top of lashes at the base and pull through to remove any clumps.
Tip #2: Keep lashes from clumping. For some, lash combs are simply too fussy. But for some makeup artists, they're a great invention and keep lashes glob-free and perfectly separated.
Tip #3: Try a spoolie (a disposable mascara wand). Sweep a clean, fresh mascara wand through lashes when they're wet.
Tip #4: Mix mascaras. A trick makeup artists use to make lashes pop is apply one coat of lengthening mascara, followed by one coat of thickening mascara.
Tip #5: Don't shy away from colored mascara. Basic mascara rules are simple: Black works for everyone but can be harsh on light-skinned blondes. Blondes should opt for brown/black by day and reserve black for night.
Blue mascara brightens blue eyes while purple mascara makes brown eyes pop.
·Tip #6: Use an eyelash curler Curling lashes gives eyes the appearance of being wider and brighter. Shoot warm air from your blowdryer on the mascara curler for 3-5 seconds to warm it up before curling lashes. Touch it first to make sure it's not too hot. It's a myth that you have to curl lashes before you apply mascara. You can curl lashes after mascara application, just make sure the mascara is dry first.
Tip #7: Give a few coats to the edges by blinking. Blink onto the brush to give ends an extra coat.
Tip #8: Powder under the eye before applying mascara. Sometimes mascara smudges because it's attracted to oily concealer or eye creams.
Tip #9: Zig-zag the wand. Zig-zagging the wand back and forth during application helps cut down clumps.
Tip #10: For a dramatic look, apply mascara only to the upper lashes. To make eyes seem wider, apply to the bottom, too. But make sure you give lashes a light touch. Not great at getting those bottom lashes? Try putting a tissue under them before application.
Tip #11: Use a mascara primer. Primers coat lashes and separate them before you apply mascara. Makeup artists swear by mascara primer.
Tip #12: Want that 2nd coat? Just make sure to do it before the first coat dries, otherwise you'll get clumps.
Tip #13: Do NOT pump wand in and out of the tube. This only introduces air into the tube, which will cause your mascara to dry out sooner than it should.
Tip #14: Another smudge-proof tip -- bend the wand. A top makeup artist once gave his secret to his steady hand: he always bends his wand at a right angle.
Tip #15: Wait five seconds before blinking. You don't want to paint your lids, do you?
.................AND here u go with perfect mascara on your eyes.
Eyeliner can make even the smallest eyes appear larger. Applying it correctly is key, you don't want the line to be too dark, harsh and obvious or you risk looking overdone. Here we share our favorite tried-but-true eyeliner tips and then give instruction on how to apply a basic eye, a smoky eye, a bold eye and a cat eye.
Three ways to apply liquid eyelinerA typical way to apply liquid eyeliner is to line eye from the inside of the lashes outward in one big sweep. You can also line the eye from the middle of the lashline outward.

Then finish the line from the inner corner of the eye to the middle.

My third liquid eyeliner trick requires a steady hand. The results are supposed to be wider eyes.
Step 1: Start with a completely bare eye, no shadow or mascara.

Step 2: Apply liquid liner in the upper lashes. Dot the liner into lashes, pushing them aside if need be. The result is not supposed to be a line. It's supposed to look as if the lashes themselves are super thick at the root.

Step 3: Apply mascara.

Step 4: Compare eye to other naked eye and see if you love the results.

Keep repeating applying mascara, practice would make u perfect gradually.
