When planning a cruise vacation you have to think about what the most popular cruise destinations from Florida are. There are also a few other aspects you have to consider when making the final plans. This consists of how much time you have off from work for a vacation, which port you would like to leave from, and what destinations you have an interest in visiting. There are cruises out there that can last from one day to a couple of weeks, so you must figure out which cruise would suit you best.

The next thing you have to take into consideration when deciding your vacation is where you want to depart from. Florida is a peninsula so it has multiple ports. You can go out of Miami, Tampa, port Canaveral, or Fort Lauderdale. Each port offers different cruise lines, different dates of departure, and different locations. You have to make sure to do the proper research so you can plan the best vacation possible.

The most important thing you have to figure out is where you want to go. There are numerous locations you have the option of seeing. You can choose to go to the Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the Bahamas, or a combination of these locations.

The Eastern Caribbean has stops in Nassau, San Juan, Grand Turk, St. Thomas, as well as a couple of other tourist attractions. The Western Caribbean consists of the Grand Cayman islands, Cozumel, Belize, and Isla Roatan. The Panama Canal cruise will feature stops in George Town, Puntarenas, Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, Huatulco, and a few other places.

The Bahamas will be a shorter cruise, due to the fact that it is only about 50 miles away from the coast. You will have the option of going to Nassau, Freeport, and Castaway Cay.

One of the best things about cruises is that you will have the freedom to explore each individual stop and plan your own agenda. All of these locations offer their own unique attractions and beauty. It is up to you to decide what type of vacation you are looking for and what exactly you are interested in seeing. You will want to spend some time researching each individual location and make the list of the activities you would like to take advantage of.
