Many people have a few misconceptions about adaptive technologies. This form of technology helps students who learn better at their own speed, rather than tagging along with the class. For students who may be blind or hard of hearing, there are several programs that can be used to make learning a comfortable environment. Technologies such as captioning and voice recognition is beneficial in this instance.

It is important that a student learns how to use the advances of the world in order to be able to function within the world. Most children do not have a problem with this, but they should be more in-tune than they already are. This the best way to make sure that they learn about the technology that they have.
